Tranquility

Talus Rock Retreat is a 30-acre paradise strategically located in a natural and beautiful setting less than two miles from downtown Sandpoint. In keeping with the intended tranquility and serenity of the Retreat, and out of respect for our neighbors, this haven serves only those individuals desiring a traditional, private and intimate gathering held in an idyllic, peaceful setting. The Nooma Room Facility is 3,200 square feet of versatile space in a well-designed facility with a five-star backdrop. Relax, and let us provide the personal attention and flexibility necessary to help you create the memories you deserve. Includes movie room and powder room.

Reserve the entire 30-acre property for exclusive use with its 6 bed, 6 bath, double occupancy suites, 2 fireplaces and a woodstove, 3 kitchens and plenty of extra sleeping spaces such as the movie theater and tower (for additional "private rooms") as well as carpeted lofts, sheepskin covered window benches, couches, chaise lounges, rollaways, futons, and inflatable mattresses to comfortably accommodate a total of 20 overnight guests. Additional bedding can be provided at $20 per person per night, or feel free to bring your own. An on-call house manager is available 24-7.

Wedding Photography at Talus Rock Retreat

We remind our guests that reservations made during Holidays, Holiday weekends, Special Sandpoint Events (Lost in the 50’s, The Festival at Sandpoint, Oktoberfest, Winter Carnival, Timberfest, and the International Draft Horse Show), and the months of January, June, July, August, and December are subject to the "Cancellation Policy B" terms detailed in the Talus Rock Retreat Policy Sheet.
